I grew up in Galveston. 5th generation Texan. To say I love Texas is like saying you like to be able to breath.

Favorite Texas teams: Houston Texans, Texas Longhorns (anyone playing Oklahoma), Houston Astros, Dallas Stars. I have to be honest though I'm not the biggest basketball fan.

I am a Texan born and rasised. I am from Galveston County (LaMarque) and graduated from Galveston O'Connell High School in 1996. I played Varsity football for 4 years and never got football out of my system. I was an all-district and 2nd team all-state defensive tackle for the Buccaneers. My biggest regret was never winning a state championship, although we made it there my Sophmore year. I am a sports nut and love football, like baseball, and will watch basketball if nothing else is on. I occasionally watch NASCAR and golf. I love to play golf, though I am pretty terrible at it. I need to get out more to see some local high school football. I miss the atmosphere of friday night lights. I think baseball needs to clean up its act...I think defensive players need to learn to go back to the huddle after each tackle they make instead of strutting around like soccer players and showboating...I KNOW OJ did it, but I'm over it....I think Earl Campbell is the epitome of what a runningback IS...I could care less about the WNBA....

Our photos & graphics aren't always the best. We may not always spell everyone's name exactly correct and we may even have grammar errors. But we are in english and we are just like you, Texas sports nuts. We love our Texas sports. But we have always had a problem. We hate having to wait out the news on the Giants or Jets, Angels, Yankees or Red Sox, Celtics or Lakers to get to the Texas teams we want to know about. Yeah we have some local outlets that are suppose to provide us with "in depth" coverage but they just come up short. The more support we get from fans, the more we will be able to cover Texas sports!

We will be attempting to cover all of Texas' sports games to the best of our abilities. Another words, when they say "Play Ball!" we hope to be there!............That sounds a little too much like Under Dogs slogan..........we may have to work on that one.
